Notes:

1)     The Audemars were French-speaking and sometimes had difficulty transcribing foreign names, especially the Russian ones.

2)     Some of the script is not easy to read and I have transliterated as best I can.

3)     I have adhered strictly to the names in the books that we have.

We only have records covering the period from about 1872 to 1885, apart from the list of movements sold to Fatio Junod in the 1840s.

This is not therefore a complete list.  For example it is known they sold movements to Jurgensen, Lange and Patek, although those names do not appear in this list.

4)     Sadly we do not have their address book only entries in stock books and invoice summaries.  I am aware that some of the UK names might have been outside London.

My ancestors – and indeed some of my Swiss relatives today – had and have a persistent habit of referring to anything and everyone in Great Britain as being in London.    My father (born in London) had the greatest difficulty getting his head around the idea that anything happened outside the London suburbs.
