Yes. We have a retail store on Boston's famous Newbury street, in the heart of the historic Back Bay, about 2 blocks from the Copley Square T stop, on the Green line. We are open from 10am to 6pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, Thursdays we open from 10am to 8pm, Saturdays we open 1pm to 6pm, and we are closed on Sundays. Please stop by to inquire about a purchase or sale, to look at our current stock, or just to chat about watches. When you are sending a watch for repair, Please send the watch ONLY with any valid warranty card. Do not send the original box.

We accepts most forms of payment, Visa/MasterCard/American Express, and Bank wire. Personal checks would only be accepted from our previous customers.

We do sometimes accept payment in installments, but mostly from previous customers. The term usually does not exceed a few months.

We do buy used Rolex and Tudor watches shipped from USA, watches must be accompanied by original certificate issued by a US authorized retailer. We do NOT buy and sell used Rolex and Tudor watches to and from outside USA.

Yes. We accept trade-ins towards the purchase of a new or used watch. Watches can be traded even, or plus/minus money depending on the value of the watch and what you want to get for it. We also buy watches and pay instantly by check, we require picture ID and one major credit card.

In our opinion, the only watches that should ever spend time on a winder are perpetual calendars or other watches with complex date mechanisms where resetting the date frequently becomes a great inconvenience and/or causes excess wear to the mechanism. The reason is that automatic watch winders cause extra wear to the automatic mechanism, the mainspring, both the barrel and the spring itself, and the gears. We have seen too many watches with worn out movements caused by spending a lot of time on a winder. Winding on the winder could also expose the hairspring to magnetic fields. Magnetized hairsprings are one of the most common causes of erratic rate and, although easily repaired, are a great annoyance.
Watches are made and adjusted to be worn 12-18 hours and day and rest for the night and when you are not wearing them. Some people are under the impression that if the watch is not running, the lubricant will dry out and cause the watch to need service, but this is not the case. All modern oils are synthetic and do not dry out in normal environments. Most of the recent popularity in buying winders was started by companies trying to sell you winders.

A "Like New" timepiece has a previous owner and is in like new condition. A "New" timepiece has never been worn and has no previous owners.

Yes. We do sometimes take watches on consignment. We will agree on a price with you, and when the watch is sold, we'll send a check in that amount. You can end the consignment as long as a transaction is not in progress. The watch will stay as your property, but under our insurance.

We have a two day full refund policy. Our customers have two full days time to look at the watch before they send it back for a refund.

We offer a one year warranty that covers performance and accuracy, as well as manufacturing defects for all watches obtained from our store. Our warranty does not cover over-winding in case of manual wind watches, crystal breakage, damage from dropping a watch, lost bracelet links or replacement straps.

Please include all boxes and papers, and pack in a steardy box with plenty of fillers(plastic bubble, news papers, or shipping popcorn) make sure that the watch is not loose in the watch box, and the watch box is not loose in the shipping box. Include in the box, a note with your name and address and telephone number and nature of the trade or repair, as a reminder. Please use FedEx UPS or USPS and notify us with the tracking number.

If your watch is not working as expected, please contact us via phone or email. Sometime the issue is very minor and can be resolved by consultation over the phone with one of our staff, if not we can make arrangements to receive the watch for repair

If you need to send your watch for warranty service, please send only the watch excluding any box or papers. We do have all your information in our file, but please include a note with your name address, a phone number where you could be contacted, and a short description of the problem. If this is a repair under warranty, we would be more than happy to provide shipping expenses, please, contact us in advance, we will email you a shipping label by FedEx.

Please declare a value for the watch, you must fill out the form for US customs, downloadable here, please contact us if you need help filling out the form. Remove exotic straps like alligator and crocodile unless you have proper documents from your government; US Fish and Wild Life requires CITES paperwork for importing exotic straps. In most cases it is not worth going through all the troubles, just remove the strap and send the watch with its original buckle.

We like to hold watches for customers normally 2 days at a time until they can come in to see the watch, or until they can fully commit to their new timepiece.
