Srange Antique Bikes

[Mse. Arts et Métiers] A Trio of antique bikes at the Musée des arts et métiers in Paris. On the far left is a shaft driven bike, much like the ones Dynamic Bicycles is selling today. On the right is a normal, if strangly-framed, single speed from probably the turn of the century. The one in the middle, however, is a very strange one. No chain and no shaft, it is driven by a complex rod linkage and cam, that appeared to transfer an up-and-down motion of the feed into rotation of the wheels.
