Vatican Manuscripts Added Week 44 of 2021

Only eight manuscripts were digitized this week. They contain representitives of the three major collections of the recent weeks, Reg.lat, Ross and the later Vat.lat. One of the interesting volumes is Reg.lat.285, which is a collection of writings by the sequential Archbishops of Centerbury, Lanfranc and Anselm. To the right is f.23r, the start of the Anslem section. Although the writings are connected by author, and of a similar hand, they were not originally together, as the second section is notably smaller than the first
