Mostly coming on Friday, a total of forty-eight manuscripts were added this week. More than half of these, twenty-six in total, came from the Capp.Sist archives, with ten more from Barb.lat. The rest of the manuscripts represent a wide spread of smaller groupings, with three each from Comb and Ott.lat, and two each from Capp.Sist.Diari, Cerulli.pers, and Vat.lat.
To the right is f.1r of Vat.lat.10991, a copy of the Rule of St. Augustine with commentary by Hugh of St. Victor that was completed in 1455, as per a colophon on f.87r. This seemed appropriate for the first full week of the pontificate of Leo XIV, the first Augustinian pope.
At the bottom is a line of music from f.3v of Capp.Sist.455, a collection of works by Giuseppe Baini, copied in 1810. This particular page contains part of his Stabat Mater dolorosa, including the start of the third verse "O quam tristis et afflícta".
