A total of thirty-eight manuscripts were digitized this week by the Vatican teams. These all came from four collections, ten from Ott.lat, nine from Barb.lat, and four from Vat.lat. The remaining fifteen came from Capp.Sist.Diari, which brings the total digitized from that fond to 139, approaching the 1/2 way mark.
To the right is f.2r from Barb.lat.1739, a 17th C guide to lead seals seen on "antique" diplomatic instruments.
At the bottom is a line of text that annotated a diagram from f.8r of Barb.lat.1950. This is a 17th C illustrated description of the Barberini gardens, located on the Quirinal Hill in Rome.
This line of text notes the remains of Tarquin's walls, part of the legendary prehistory of Rome.
