A total of twenty-three manuscripts were digitized in the past week. Unusually Capp.Sist contributed the most, with eight manuscripts digitized. Following that were the expected fonds, Ott.lat with six, Comb with five and Barb.lat with two. The week concluded with a single volume each from Chig and S.Maria.Magg
To the right is f.1r from Ott.lat.1908, a manuscript of the writings of Petrarch. This page has the beginnings of De vita solitaria, a defense of the solitary life.
At the bottom is a line of music in square neumes from f.28v of Capp.Sist.377. This is a mid 18th C manuscript mostly of lections (readings) for Holy Saturday in plain text, but it ends with a litany, which includes music.
