A busy week with eighty-one manuscripts added to the online repository. As with recent weeks, the majority of these are works by the 18^th historian Pierluigi Galletti, bringing to 208 the number of volumes of his work digitized so far. Another continuing trend is a number of manuscripts in Asian scripts, including Borg.tonch.18, a collection of devotional works by Phillip Binh, a Vietnamese Catholic who spent much of his life in Portugal. The main text is in the traditional Vietnamese writing system, based on Chinese script and also vertical. The running titles at the top of the pages, however, are in a romanized form originally developed in the 17th C and heavily promoted by the later French colonial authorities.

In the Latin volumes are several more volumes of what appears to be a mostly complete Bible with Glossa Ordinaria, though not from a single source. Vat.lat.4197, the book of Numbers, was added this week, along with Vat.lat.4202, the minor prophets, and Vat.lat.4206, the book of Mark. Although within the range, Vat.lat.4202, also added this week, appears to be an earlier Gospel book, without any gloss. Interestingly two of these glossed Bibles have flyleaves from the same 12^th C Antiphonal, Vat.lat.4201 (Song of Songs, digitized back in late 2018) and this week's Vat.lat.4202. F.Iv, to the right, contains the antiphons for the Purification of the BVM, also known as Candlemass, celebrated on February 2, starting with "Ave gratia plena..."

The bottom border comes from Vat.lat.4144 f.1r, an early 16^th C text on the election of a Pope, presented to Julius II.
