Dated Ragab 1147 AH (Started November 27, 1734)
A total of thirteen manuscripts were digitized this week, which marks the middle of the year. The distribution is somewhat odd, due to the low numbers, with Vat.ar giving five and Ott.lat four as the top two contributors. Following was Barb.gr with two, and one each from Barb.lat and Vat.lat.
To the right is f.7r of Ott.lat.331, a 14th C manuscript of Jacob Voragine's Golden Legend, an immensely popular collection of legends and stories about the saints. This particular manuscript is interesting due to contemporary corrections in the margins, visible here on both outer edges of the leaf. This page contains the life of St. Andrew
At the bottom is a line of Arabic text from f.7v of Vat.ar.1448, a 1643 manuscript of the writings of Abd al-Wahhāb al-Shaʿrānī, not the writings of the similarly named Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab, eponymous founder of the Wahhabist movement.
