A quiet week, even by the recent pattern of quiet weeks, brings only ten digitized manuscripts online. These included three each from Barb.lat and Capp.Sist, two from Ott.lat, and one each from S.Maria.Magg and Vat.lat
In a Missal, even when there are very few illuminations, as in the 14th C manuscript S.Maria.Magg.98, the passage Te Igitur, which starts the Canon of the Mass often gets a nice decoration. This is the case on f.160v to the right where a damaged, but still lovely crucifixion scene is found, the largest and most elaborate illumination in the manuscript
For historical reasons, the S.Maria.Magg collection includes both manuscripts and printed books shelved together. Capp.Sist.157 is one of those, a collection of Mass settings by Alphonsi Lobo de Borja printed in 1602. This is from the very elaborate portrait frontispiece on the title page, f.1r of the book.
