A total of thirty-one manuscripts were digitized in the past week, most of them being uploaded on Friday. Of these the vast majority, twenty-three of them, were from the Ott.lat collection. The remainder consisted of two each from Barb.lat and Comb, one each from Ott.gr and Vat.gr.

To the right is f.14r from Ott.lat.2813. This is the start of a work entitled Chitarra scordata. (the mistuned guitar ?), one of the many poetical works in this volume. They consist of satirical poems on the Conclave that elected Benedict XIII in 1724. It seems strange to have satirical poems on the election of a rather austere Dominican Friar to the Chair of Peter, but this volume is filled with them

At the bottom is a fragment of the border of f.2v from Ott.lat.1449, a humanist copy of Cicero and pseudo-Cicero. This manuscript also bears a very common sort of title page on f.IIIv, with a series of blue and gold circles bearing the names of the works within. It was made for Alphonse V of Aragon, King of Naples († 1458).
