Vatican Manuscripts Added Week 30 of 2020

Forty-nine manuscripts added this week to the online repository. Last week we saw the first few drops of what has become a flood of works by Pierluigi Galletti digitized. Multiple copies of his Roman Necrology, even some of the index volumes, several manuscripts of epigraphic inscriptions in the city of Rome and six volumes of the Regesto di Farfa, plus the genealogy of that city he deduced from the register, have all been digitized this week.

There were also more of the Borg.ind fond, which I am unable to identify unless there is linked metadata, and two volumes of the Armonia Catolica, Vat.lat.7770 and Vat.lat.7771. It is not the most beautiful volume in the set, but the Minor Prophets volume of a complete 13th C Bible with Glossa Ordinaria, Vat.lat.7796 was added this week as well. This brings the number of digitized volumes to nine, of a total of twelve.

A tall, narrow 13th Century copy of Macrobius' Dream of Scipio was added this week, including diagrams as Vat.lat.4200. F.93r, to the right, is a interesting map of the world, including the climatic regions. Please do not ignore the strange animal (dog, lion, ??) biting his own back at the bottom left corner, he's the letter 'q'

The bottom border is taken from f.3r of Vat.lat.7816, a Roman Martyrology of the early 17th C.
