Fourty-two manuscripts were added in total this week. The work on the > Vat.lat.14666 tranche continues with an assortment of late 19th C additions to the library as does work on the palm leaf codices in Borg.ind and Vat.ind.

A particularly papal manuscript added this week was Vat.lat.4767, one volume of a seven-part Missal made for Pope Clement VII in the Avignon workshop of Jean de Toulouse. It is decorated with borders on important pages and illuminated initials, around 6 lines high. In the case of f.45r to the right, the liturgy begins for the feast of the Apostles Peter and Paul, celebrated on June 29th. In the large initial 'T' we can see Peter with his keys and Paul with his sword, still sheathed.

The bottom border comes from Vat.lat.8699, a copy of the New Testament Epistles with gloss. The start of every letter has space for a large decorative initial, though all are empty, and this style of elaborate page bottom flourishes. The flourish below is from f.57r, the start of the First Epistle to the Corinthians, beginning "[P]aulus uocatus ap[osto]l[i]s Ch[risti]...", with a large space for the missing "P"
