A total of twenty-seven manuscripts were digitized by the Vatican this week. As with recent weeks, the vast majority, twenty-two, came from Ott.lat. The remainder, also as expected, were three from Comb, and one each from Barb.lat ant Vat.lat. As an interesting note, there was not a single illuminated, or otherwise decorated, manuscript scanned this week. All twenty-seven were plain text volumes
To the right is f.1r from Ott.lat.2518, a 14th c volume containing the inquisitorial proceedings against several members of the Visconti family of Milan, held in the early 14th C.
As of the end of this week's work, about 202 items from the Comb collection of Ge'ez manuscript have been digitized, more than 2/3 of the total collection. This collection is unusual due to having a number of pieces written in the 20th C. One of these is Comb.F.38, p.20 of which is seen below. This contains a line from the [Mälkéa Iyäsus (መልክአ ኢየሱስ)](https://en.sewasew.com/p/ma-lke-a-iya-sus-(%E1%88%98%E1%88%8D%E1%8A%AD%E1%8A%A0-%E1%8A%A2%E1%8B%A8%E1%88%B1%E1%88%B5), translated roughly as the "Image of Jesus", a 51-stanza hymn in praise of Jesus. At the far right side of the image you can see a prick-mark, used in the ruling of the page.
