Only twelve manuscripts were digitized the past week, all on monday. Work continues to favor the Ott.lat fond, contributing nine of those volumes. The rest consisted of two from Barb.lat and a single codex from Vat.lat
To the right is f.LXXVIIr (it's foliated in roman numerals, I don't know why) from Vat.lat.1194. This is a mid-to-late 12th C manuscript of saints' lives from Rome. The page seen here has a prolog to, and the start of the main Vita of St. Thomas, the Apostle. The style of the brightly painted initials is distinctively Italian of this period.
At the bottom is a fragment of the border, rotated, from f.1r of Ott.lat.3292. This is a 15th C manuscript of the Vita Pontificum Romae traditionally attributed to the 9th C papal librarian called Anastasius Bibliothecarius.
